Pragathi Cafe extends its helping hand... Spectacle Distribution

A special event was held on the25th July 2010, at Duwegoda Sri Sudarmaramaya temple in Kaluthara district of Sri Lanka.

The project was sponsored by Pragathi Cafe Sri Lanka CIC, with Mr Asoka Perera as their representative alongside Retired High Court Judge Mr Wimal Vijerathna who organised the event with the support of Rev.Kaluwamodara Seelarathana Thero, the head of the Duwegoda temple.

The event was the redistribution of spectacles to the people in the area who could not afford adequate eye care. It was a huge success and about 250 people from the local district attended.
